Find Peace, Power, and Victory Through Faith
Have you been feeling unusually heavy, confused, or overwhelmed? Like you’re fighting something invisible that you just can’t shake?
Maybe you’ve lost your motivation to pray. Your thoughts are foggy, on edge, and you can’t quite explain why. I want you to know this: you are not crazy and you are not alone. You may be facing spiritual warfare.
I’ve walked through many seasons just like this. And I’m here to walk with you, too.
When the Fight Feels Personal: A Story You Might Know Too Well
Let me share a part of my life with you. I am a proud believer in Jesus Christ. There was a time when everything felt like it was falling apart. Problems seemed to come one after another, my bills outweighed my income, and my house felt like it was falling apart at the seams. One day, my children expressed their uncertainty about whether Jesus was real. To be honest, I was slipping into a depression and I was tired.
At that time, I didn’t realize that I wasn’t just feeling tired and down. I was under attack.
The enemy doesn’t always show up with red horns. Sometimes, he comes in the form of discouragement, confusion, delay, or spiritual numbness. This is the reality of spiritual warfare (Ephesians 6:12), and many Christians are battling it silently.

What Victory Looks Like: Peace, Clarity, and Power in Christ
Now picture this…
You wake up with clarity, your mind no longer racing with anxious thoughts. You open your Bible and feel like God is speaking directly to you. Your prayers don’t feel powerless, they carry weight. You have discernment to spot the enemy’s tactics and the strength to resist them.
You’re no longer surviving; you’re thriving! Equipped, empowered, and rooted in Christ.
This is not just a dream. This is what happens when we understand the battle and apply spiritual tools with intention.
How to Fight Back: A Step-by-Step Guide to Spiritual Victory

Remember: YOU’RE AN OVERCOMER!
You can overcome spiritual warfare, and you don’t have to do it alone. Here’s a clear path forward using practical tools, Biblical truth, and Kingdom resources.
Step 1: Recognize the Battle
Start by naming what’s happening. And call it out in Jesus name! Confusion, division, fatigue, anxiety and depression. These are often signs of warfare, not failure. Read and meditate on Ephesians 6:10–18.
Step 2: Armor Up Daily
Put on the full armor of God. Start each morning with a scripture declaration. Declare the Word over your life and your household. Stand firm! (Want to know the scriptures I declare over my children and my house? Check it out here – https://nicoleluallen.com/2025/03/14/declaring-gods-word/ – These are powerful promises from the Lord to Armor up with!)
Step 3: Pray with Power
Use guided warfare prayers speaking God’s Word over your situation. Declare victory—even if you don’t feel it yet. (Need help? My Prayer Journal on Amazon walks you through step-by-step on how to start prayer journaling. And is filled with scripture.)
Step 4: Fast for Clarity
Fasting brings breakthrough. I share more in my previous blog on how fasting can break strongholds. My daughter came to know Jesus after one of my fast ended. Won’t He do it?! This mama was waring in the Spirit for her children. God is good!
Step 5: Stand on Scripture
Use the Word as your sword. Write scripture down. Place verses all over your house for what it is you are going through and SPEAK IT OUT LOUD! There is power in your tongue honey! (Proverbs 18:21)
Step 6: Stay Connected
Don’t isolate yourself. The enemy thrives in silence and secrecy. Join my community, where we pray together, fast together, and grow together.

FAQ: What You’re Wondering About Spiritual Warfare
Q: How do I know if I’m in spiritual warfare or just going through a hard time?
A: Spiritual warfare often feels like irrational resistance—confusion, heaviness, or spiritual apathy without cause. If your mind is under siege, it may not be just stress—it could be spiritual.
Q: What prayers should I pray when I’m under attack?
A: Start with Psalms 91, Ephesians 6:10–18, and targeted declarations from your time with the Lord. Engage with the Holy Spirit, He will give you His promises to stand on.
Q: Can fasting really make a difference?
A: Absolutely. Fasting aligns your spirit with God’s and weakens the influence of the flesh and enemy. Reference Mark 9:29 “This kind only comes out by prayer and fasting.” Fasting will break the strongholds of the enemy.
Q: How long does this spiritual warfare last?
A: Warfare seasons vary, but with the right tools and consistent prayer, many believers see breakthroughs faster than they expect. Remember, God already has the victory. And He has given us power and authority to trample over the enemy. Walk in that authority!
